Sky is blue
Sun is orange
T-shirt is yellow
And PC is black
Every color I have learnt
And I haven’t got the red and my heart is red.

IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH

I leave a short summary:
  • The LOE prioritized a communicative approach, rather than focusing on grammar. With three years there are children who can barely speak Castilian and already receiving instruction in English and babble learning new words every day in both English and Spanish, learn to tell the time in the two languages, and recognize simple English vocabulary as such animals or food. They learn by playing, having fun in the same way that they are still learning Castilian. Through games, songs, educational activities. During the early years working primarily vocabulary that later will serve to communicate in this language.
  • When you start learning English from as little what we get is that children learn both languages independently, ie, your brain organizes language into two distinct and not build a language from another as when we learn a language being older.
  • The child already has some prior knowledge of language learning and makes use of them to learn the structures of second language learning. So it is very important to begin learning a second language when they are still learning their mother tongue. This will avoid the typical literal translations from Spanish to English.
  • Keep in mind that children are children and therefore show the same characteristics as the Castilian speaking will prove them speaking English, ie pronunciarán things incorrectly, babble, they forget words and / or expressions but long.

In these pages you can read the importance of English in kindergarten.
